Bush Kinder

At our Bush Kinder program is held once a month at Woodlands Historic Park.

Children are provided with opportunities to engage in activities such as bushwalking, exploring local flora and fauna, building natural structures, and creating art with natural materials. These experiences help children to develop a deep appreciation for nature and the environment, while also developing their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Childcare Bush Kinder programs help children to be flexible and adaptable, with a focus on child-led learning and exploration. Children are encouraged to take risks and challenge themselves, building confidence and resilience through their experiences in the natural environment.

Our Garden Program

A garden program for childcare is an excellent way to introduce young children to the joys and benefits of gardening. Through a garden program, children can learn about plants, their life cycle, and how to care for them. They can also develop important skills, such as patience, responsibility, and cooperation, as they work together to tend to the garden.

children are given the opportunity to plant, water, weed, and harvest a variety of plants, including fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and taking care of worm farms

Cooking Experiences

A cooking experience for childcare is a wonderful way to engage children in hands-on learning about food, nutrition, and cultural diversity. Through cooking activities, children can learn about the origins and uses of different ingredients, as well as basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety. Children can participate in activities such as measuring, mixing, chopping, and baking, with supervision from educators.

Out and About: Community services visits

An "Out and About" program for children is an exciting way to provide children with opportunities to explore and learn about the world beyond the classroom. This program involves taking children on trips to various locations in the community, such as museums, parks, libraries, and cultural centers

Children visit to a local community service is an excellent way to introduce young children to the concept of community involvement and social responsibility.

A visit to a local community service can also promote positive social and emotional development among children.
